The SoHo Journal credited Margaret Chin for her work for Chinatown tenants who historically have been quiet and avoided confrontations but whose landlords have “trampled” on their rights by leaving apartments “dilapidated”, when many landlords Downtown want to kick tenants out to reap higher rents.
